Upper Silesian University of Entrepreneurship Karola Goduli in Chorzów implemented projects co-financed by the ESF under the Human Capital Operational Program and the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program:
Firma Symulacyjna – Rzeczywiste Kompetencje (www.firmasymulacyjna.gwsp.edu.pl), which, after the commission’s evaluation, came second on the ranking list! implemented under sub-measure 9.1.2. POKL “Equalizing educational opportunities for students from groups with difficult access to education and reducing the differences in the quality of educational services”.
Mam Zawód – Mam Pracę! (www.mamzawod.gwsp.edu.pl) (measure 9.2 POKL), which was among the top ten projects for co-financing. The main goal of the project was to strengthen the students’ ability for future employment by preparing them to become a qualified employee and / or entrepreneur at a later date.
Partnerstwo, kreatywność i kompetencje dźwignią zmian w mieście postindustrialnym. Od badania do działania. From research to action. – (measure 8.1.2 POKL) – project carried out together with Centrum Przedsiębiorczości sp.z o.o. in Chorzów and the County Employment Office in Chorzów. The aim of the project was to create conditions for the structural changes of the city of Chorzów combined with a change in the profile of local enterprises.
Śląskie Manufaktury Przemysłów Kultury – (Measure 6.2 of the HCOP) – the project was addressed to people who wanted to open their own companies in the cultural industries sector, using the financial support of the European Union – non-returnable investment subsidy up to PLN 40,000 PLN to start a business. The project’s partner was the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice. (www.manufakturykultury.gwsp.edu.pl).
Młodzieżowa Akademia Rozwoju (POWER) (www.mar.gwsp.edu.pl) – a project aimed at 1,000 students of primary and secondary schools (upper secondary) over 13 years of age. from the Śląskie Voivodeship, including 2% of people with disabilities who do not have a high school diploma, and at the same time show a willingness to develop their knowledge and broaden their horizons, including the willingness to participate in informal forms of learning.
Upper Silesian University of Entrepreneurship Karola Goduli in Chorzów has also completed a project entitled „Remont oraz wyposażenie obiektów dydaktycznych wraz z zagospodarowaniem otoczenia oraz budową obiektu sportowego Górnośląskiej Wyższej Szkoły Przedsiębiorczości im. Karola Goduli w Chorzowie” under the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship for the years 2007-2013, priority VIII Educational infrastructure, measures 8.1 Infrastructure of higher education. The subject of the project was the renovation of didactic buildings A and B making up the campus of the Upper Silesian University of Entrepreneurship Karol Goduli in Chorzów at ul. Racławicka 23 and 21, and the purchase of equipment for the needs of computer labs, laboratories and classrooms, as well as the library.
