Specimens of graduation diplomas, methods of securing and issuing them
In Górnośląska Wyższa Szkoła Przedsiębiorczości im. Karol Godula, there is the following model of higher education diploma with security (available here), approved by Resolution No. 3/2020/2021 of the Senate of the Upper Silesian University of Entrepreneurship Karol Godula in Chorzów on March 9, 2021. The current model of the diploma was introduced into the legal system and its issuance began on July 1, 2021. Variable data on the graduate, form of studies, graduation result, issuing the diploma are entered at the university. The form of the document is personalized in the printing house and includes: the name of the university, typographic numbering, and the university’s emblem.
The method of issuing diplomas and its copies and duplicates:
The set of documents is issued at the dean’s office on the basis of the Rector’s order on the rules and manner of drawing up and issuing graduation diplomas, their copies, copies for files and their duplicates.
The forms of diplomas are kept in a specially secured room, to which only an authorized person has access. Prints are issued only to persons authorized to collect them. The diplomas are issued to the graduate in person or to a third person on the basis of a notary’s authorization or prepared at the dean’s office in the presence of an employee of the dean’s office. Together with the diploma, the graduate receives two copies of the diploma, while a copy in a foreign language is issued at the graduate’s request. Additional copies of diplomas and duplicate diplomas are issued at the graduate’s request, in accordance with the above-described procedure.
