The Library of USAE was founded in the academic year of 2001/2002. The Library consists of the Library Office with the loaning service, and of the Reading Room, housing a collection of books and journals with the access to the Internet.
The collection of bound publications currently includes more than 6600 volumes,
part of which can be used for consultative purposes in the Reading Room exclusively
(main manuals, special collection items, and dictionary and encyclopaedic publications).
The Library also collects periodicals, which currently account for 55 items, and the publications of
The Office of the Committee for European Integration.
Whole library collection, including magazines, is made available to the readers in the Reading Room.
Furthermore, students are offered an opportunity to use a number of computer terminals with the access to the
World Wide Web, which the Reading Room of USAE is equipped with. The collection of the Library, both the book and
the journal collection and the amount of computer terminals available, is constantly being enlarged and enriched.
Moreover, students of USAE are provided with three catalogues of the library collection: an alphabetical catalogue,
a subject catalogue (according to Universal Decimal Classification) and a catalogue of the BA theses (available only
in the Reading Room and with a permission of both the supervisor of the thesis in question and the given student's
supervisor).
The Library (B Building) is open:
Tuesday - Saturday: 8:30 - 15:00
