Student Self-government was founded In USAE In November 1999. It acts in accordance with the status of the academy. The grounds of its activities is The Regulations of Student Self-government. The chairman is Ms Magdalena Czarnecka – the student of II year at the faculty of New economics. The self-government represents the cases of all students and helps to resolve their problems. The representatives of the student self-government cooperate with the Senate and Faculty Committee of the academy.

In the year 2002 the graduates of USAE established associations of USAE' Friends which cooperates with Career Office. This association was registered in District Court in Katowice in 2003. The association of USAE' Friends is an autonomous and voluntary association working in all domains of economy and culture and bases its activity on social work of its members.
